Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has unveiled the 'Lean Ethereum' roadmap, a multi-year protocol rebuild designed to replace almost every major component of the network over three to four years. The plan introduces recursive STARKs, elevates quantum safety and default privacy to first-class goals, and restructures state storage to scale capacity to 100 TB by 2030.
