Nvidia launches PAIR tool for home AI computing

Nvidia has launched Personal AI Router (PAIR), a free open-source software tool that links idle home computers into a local AI data center. Announced at IFA 2026, PAIR distributes complex agentic AI workloads across a home network's GPUs, cutting processing times in half during tests. The software supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, utilizing Nvidia RTX 20-series or newer cards alongside Apple M4 chips, and secures connections using mTLS encryption.
