Revolut is targeting a $200 billion valuation for an IPO planned around 2028, according to Financial Times reporting, though CEO Nik Storonsky says the offering won't happen for two years and sources dispute any formal target has been set. The fintech giant completed a November share sale at a $75 billion valuation and posted record 2024 revenues of $6 billion with $2.3 billion in pre-tax profits. Revolut now operates licensed banks in 30 of 40 geographies, recently gained UK banking approval with a $4 billion investment commitment, and has applied for a U.S. bank charter as part of its American expansion strategy. The company is also exploring stablecoin products through a UK regulatory sandbox ahead of 2025 stablecoin regulations, though it currently offers no crypto services to U.S. customers.
