Gatik raises $200 million for autonomous freight operations

Autonomous middle-mile logistics startup Gatik has raised $200 million in Series D funding led by Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies. The capital will fund the expansion of Gatik's driverless commercial fleet, which currently operates across Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, and Canada. Gatik has generated over $600 million in contracted revenue and services major supply chains, including PepsiCo and Loblaw, as it targets deploying more than 100 driverless trucks by the end of 2026.

Gatik Series D funding round

Dynamic routing network expansion

• ▪Gatik's autonomous vehicle system has transitioned from fixed trips of under 10 miles to dynamic routes covering distances up to 400 miles across highways and surface streets
• ▪Gatik's dynamic route orchestration allows route plans to adjust by adding or removing stops to respond to shifts in demand and distribution center activity

PepsiCo commercial deployment

• ▪Gatik signed a multi-year agreement with PepsiCo in June 2026 to deploy autonomous freight vehicles within PepsiCo's North American supply chain
• ▪The PepsiCo deployment includes 41 fully driverless Gatik box trucks moving Frito-Lay products between distribution centers and stores in Dallas, Phoenix, and northwest Arkansas

Loblaw Canadian fleet agreement

• ▪Gatik and Canadian retailer Loblaw signed a five-year agreement in September 2025 to deploy an initial fleet of 50 autonomous trucks across the Greater Toronto Area
• ▪Gatik and Loblaw began autonomous deliveries with safety drivers in 2020 and removed safety drivers from commercial routes in 2022 after completing over 150,000 deliveries

Arena simulation platform development

• ▪Gatik introduced Arena in July 2025, an internally developed simulation platform designed to generate structured synthetic data to test autonomous driving behavior
• ▪Gatik's Arena simulation platform incorporates Nvidia Cosmos world foundation models to generate synthetic driving environments for training and validation
