Cloudflare launches Kitesurf browser built for AI agents

Cloudflare has launched Kitesurf, a stateless, cloud-hosted web browser designed specifically for AI agents. Built in 12 weeks on Cloudflare Workers, Kitesurf strips human-centric features like tabs and extensions to focus on machine-readable content and security. It runs in V8 isolates without Chromium, using 3.1 to 3.8 times less CPU and 4.7 to 7.0 times less memory. Kitesurf is free in beta via Browser Run and integrates with Puppeteer and Playwright.
