Robotics startup Enigma emerged from stealth on July 27, 2026, with a $71 million seed round led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital. Founded by former Unit 8200 colleagues Jonathan Jacobi and Gal Niv, the company focuses on studying human-robot interaction to develop intuitive interfaces. Enigma is launching a public experiment with more than 100 proprietary robots in Israel and California to gather interaction data, aiming to simplify robotic control and explore better ways to train its foundational AI model.
