Israeli strike destroys Gaza aid warehouse, killing seven Palestinians

Gaza aid warehouse destruction

▪The Palestinian Land of Man Association, also known as Ard El Insan, stated that the warehouse destruction occurred after an Israeli strike targeted an adjacent residential building.
▪The destroyed warehouse, locally known as the Fayyad Barracks, was located on 17th Street near Rashid Street in Deir al-Balah.

Nutritional supplies buried

▪The force of the explosion collapsed the roof and walls of the Ard El Insan warehouse, burying nutritional supplements intended for children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers.
▪A preliminary assessment by Ard El Insan indicated that nearly 100 percent of the stored nutritional supplies were damaged by shrapnel, debris, dust, and blast pressure.

Humanitarian operations disrupted

▪The destroyed warehouse supported approximately 60 medical points and centres that serve up to 100 vulnerable women and children daily in Gaza.
▪Ard El Insan project coordinator Sahar Salem stated that two of her colleagues have been killed and another wounded since the conflict began.

Child malnutrition crisis

▪A UNICEF report found that more than 12 percent of children in Gaza suffer from stunting, while over half of pregnant women suffer from severe anaemia.
▪Medical Aid for Palestinians nutrition programme leader Rowida Sabbah reported that rates of malnutrition remain high, with increasing needs for children aged 5 to 10.

Ceasefire violations continue

▪Gaza Ministry of Health Director-General Dr. Munir al-Bursh warned that only 12 out of approximately 34 oxygen stations remain operational in Gaza.
▪The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that more than 1,296 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in October 2025.
