Nuclear startup Valar Atomics has raised $1 billion in a Series B funding round led by Sequoia Capital to scale up production of its small reactors. The company, which is building America's first 'gigasites,' also secured a $200 million credit facility. The new capital will help Valar shift from demonstration to volume production and pursue its goal of becoming a vertically integrated nuclear power company.
