SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son, 68, has abandoned his long-held retirement plans to lead the technology group for another decade or more. At a shareholder meeting, Son set a bold target to grow SoftBank's net asset value to $6.2 trillion within 10 years, a goal he says is built on the promise of artificial 'superintelligence' and his ambition to make the company the world's preeminent AI-powered robotics firm.
