Taylor Farms has voluntarily recalled prepared salsa, guacamole, and other jalapeño-containing products across 26 states due to potential salmonella contamination. The recall was triggered after supplier Coast Citrus Distributors recalled fresh peppers traced to a grower in Sinaloa, Mexico. While the outbreak has sickened 345 people and hospitalized 36, no illnesses are linked directly to Taylor Farms' products. This represents the second major food safety crisis for the supplier in weeks, following a massive cyclospora outbreak linked to its iceberg lettuce.
