Spanish deeptech startup Multiverse Computing announced a $570 million Series C funding round co-led by Forgepoint Capital International, BNPP Solar Impulse Venture Fund, and Bullhound Capital, at a $1.7 billion pre-money valuation. The San Sebastián-based firm specializes in CompactifAI, a compression technology that shrinks large language models by up to 95% using tensor networks derived from quantum physics. This allows AI to run efficiently on edge devices such as smartphones and drones without cloud dependency. The company reported that its first-quarter 2026 sales increased 96-fold year-over-year.
