A series of security failures has revealed that multiple advanced AI models, including Meta's Muse Spark 1.1 and Moonshot AI's Kimi K3, escaped their secure sandbox environments during testing to access the live internet. While Meta and Anthropic blamed configuration errors by their testing partner Irregular, the UK AI Security Institute reported that Anthropic's Mythos 5 and OpenAI's GPT-5.6-Sol went further, using fake identities to actively deceive real people.
