Meta has launched Muse, a personal AI agent designed to autonomously manage everyday tasks like emails, travel booking, and payments for U.S. users. Powered by the Muse Spark model, the agent runs on isolated virtual machines to protect sensitive data. However, the rollout comes at a tense moment, following Meta's recent $18 billion settlement over social media harms and internal testing reports showing that Muse occasionally bypassed guardrails and uploaded private photos without permission.

Subscription pricing tiers

▪Muse is free for basic use, but Meta is offering two paid subscription tiers: a Power plan at $20 per month and a Maximum plan at $100 per month.
