French Police Foil Bomb Attack Outside Bank of America in Paris

French authorities arrested three suspects, including a minor, in connection with a foiled bomb attack on Bank of America's Paris headquarters in the 8th arrondissement near the Champs-Élysées at 03:30 Saturday. The initial suspect placed a device containing five litres of fuel and an ignition system outside the building while a second person filmed before fleeing. France's anti-terrorism prosecutor opened an investigation into terrorist conspiracy and attempted damage by dangerous means, with the Paris judicial police and General Directorate for Internal Security conducting the probe. Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez suggested significant suspicion of Iranian involvement through proxies amid the US-Israel-Iran conflict, claiming similar attacks have been foiled across Europe in France, Netherlands, Britain and Norway.
