Anthropic launched Claude Managed Agents on Wednesday, a hosted infrastructure platform that provides developers with out-of-the-box tools, memory systems, and sandboxed environments to build autonomous AI agents that can run for hours in the cloud. Early adopters include Notion, which is using the platform for client onboarding, and Rakuten. The launch comes as Anthropic's annualized recurring revenue surpassed $30 billion as of Tuesday, triple its December 2025 level, with most growth driven by Claude Platform enterprise API access. The move positions Anthropic to compete with OpenAI's Frontier agent platform as both companies prepare for potential public offerings this year amid Wall Street's increased wariness of software stocks.
