Ukrainian drones strike Russia's largest oil refinery in Western Siberia, 2,500km from the border

On July 6, 2026, Ukrainian drones struck the Gazprom Neft-operated Omsk oil refinery in Western Siberia, located 2,500km from the border. The attack, reportedly using new FP-1 drones, damaged the vital ELOU-AVT-11 primary processing unit. This strike marks the first time the Omsk region has been hit, leaving 10 of Russia's 10 largest refineries targeted and exacerbating domestic fuel shortages.

Omsk refinery drone strike

Russian air defense failures
