Australian AI firm Firmus Technologies has partnered with Nvidia to build a 360MW AI data center in Batam, Indonesia. The deal, expected to generate up to $30 billion in revenue over six years, will provide 170,000 GPUs to give smaller AI firms more cost-effective access to computing power. Firmus, recently valued at $5.5 billion after a $1.35 billion funding round, is also preparing for a potential IPO.
