Italian Carabinieri have recovered three paintings by Paul Cézanne, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, and Henri Matisse worth over €9 million ($10.4 million) that were stolen during a three-minute heist at the Fondazione Magnani Rocca museum in March 2026. The artworks were found in a Parma apartment, and nine Moldovan nationals are under investigation. Separately, Brazilian police recovered eight stolen Matisse illustrations valued at $200,000 in São Paulo.
