OpenAI Agents SDK 0.19 release cycle adds Programmatic Tool Calling and hardens agent runtimes

From July 27 to August 5, 2026, OpenAI released Agents SDK v0.19.0 through v0.19.4. The substantive v0.19.0 release added Programmatic Tool Calling, typed configuration, logging hardening, compatibility improvements, and cloud mount support. The following releases addressed guardrails, sessions, sandbox paths, tool collisions, streaming, voice, and content-filter behavior. The five releases are treated as one release-cycle event rather than five separate stories.
