Bit2Me launches Bit2Shield unit to help law enforcement track and seize crypto assets

Spain's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Bit2Me, has launched Bit2Shield, a specialized forensic unit led by former Civil Guard investigator Adrián Maroño. The unit assists courts, police, and banks in tracing, seizing, and storing digital assets. This formalizes Bit2Me's existing public sector operations, which processed 1.5 million euros in seized crypto during 2025 for agencies like Interpol and Europol. The launch marks a broader strategic shift toward B2B infrastructure, which now accounts for 27% of Bit2Me's revenue.
