AI startup Prentis, co-founded by Ritankar Das, Reid Hoffman, and Mark Pincus, is in active talks to raise $100 million at a $1 billion valuation. Launched in April 2026, the company develops AI agents to automate routine office workflows. Prentis has already secured up to $50 million in customer contracts and claims its Hive-32B model outperforms rivals like OpenAI and Anthropic on computer-use benchmarks at a tenth of the cost, positioning itself in a highly competitive automation market.
