Anthropic Partners with Macquarie Asset Management and GIC to Build AI Data Centers

Anthropic PBC has partnered with Macquarie Asset Management and Singaporean wealth fund GIC to form Theseus Infrastructure, a joint venture dedicated to building AI data centers. The initiative will initially focus on developing computing sites in the United States to support Anthropic's Claude AI model. While Macquarie and GIC will fund the bulk of the project equity, Anthropic has committed to covering any consumer electricity price hikes resulting from the facilities.
