The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health maintains its #1 ranking among 224 accredited public health schools in the 2026 U.S. News & World Report peer assessment, a position it has held continuously since rankings began in 1994. The nation's oldest and largest school of public health, with 2,900 students and nearly 900 faculty, also secured top rankings in three departments (Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Health Policy and Management) and a #5 ranking for its Master of Health Administration program. Under new dean Keshia Pollack Porter, who assumed leadership in August 2025, the school has launched multiple initiatives including Indigenous Health concentrations, a Dean's Fellowship program, AI ethics courses, and a rural health initiative. The institution's 29,000 alumni span 120 countries, while its Bloomberg American Health Initiative has grown to 447 Fellows and 358 collaborating organizations.
