Ondo Finance partners with SBI to tokenize Japanese stocks
Ondo Finance, a US-based tokenization firm, is partnering with Japanese financial giant SBI Group to bring Japanese equities onto the blockchain. The collaboration will use SBI's recently launched JPYSC yen-backed stablecoin for settlement and distribute Ondo's products through SBI's vast network. The deal aims to open Japanese assets to global investors and is a key part of SBI's broader push into onchain finance.
Ondo-SBI partnership structure
