World Chain to Deploy EIP-7928 Block Access Lists on August 17, First Layer-2 to Stream Feature

World Chain will become the first production Layer-2 network to deploy streamed EIP-7928 block access lists on August 17, 2026. By streaming state access data every 200 milliseconds inside flashblocks, the upgrade enables validators to verify independent transactions in parallel across multiple CPU cores. This technical milestone targets a throughput of up to 1 gigagas per second on standard cloud hardware, scaling capacity without increasing validator costs or compromising decentralization.

EIP-7928 block access lists
