Fiserv has launched its Digital Asset Platform, featuring the Bank of North Dakota's Roughrider Coin as its first live implementation. The dollar-backed, permissioned stablecoin enables faster bank-to-bank payments across North Dakota's interbank network. More than 90 banks and credit unions can access the token directly through Fiserv's Commercial Center system. The platform, which utilizes Solana and Fireblocks, is designed to support future use cases like tokenized deposits and treasury automation.
