Singapore's Competition and Consumer Commission (CCS) approved Texas Instruments' $7.5 billion acquisition of Silicon Laboratories at $231 per share in cash, expected to close in H1 2027. The CCS reviewed five product overlap areas and found the companies are not close competitors, operate in a fragmented global market, and the merged entity would lack market power to foreclose rivals.
