Ring Protocol has integrated Orbs-powered dLIMIT and dTWAP protocols across Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. The tools allow users to place decentralized limit orders and divide larger trades into smaller transactions executed over a configurable period while retaining self-custody. According to the companies, the features use Orbs’ Layer 3 Proof-of-Stake infrastructure and are available at no additional cost. Ring Protocol says it has processed more than $5 billion in cumulative trading volume and holds over $30 million in total value locked.
Ring Protocol Orbs integration
- ▪The Orbs-powered dLIMIT and dTWAP features are available to Ring Protocol traders on Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, and BNB Chain at no additional cost.
- ▪Ring Protocol integrated Orbs-powered dLIMIT and dTWAP protocols to bring decentralized limit and time-weighted average price orders to traders.
- ▪Ring Protocol says it has processed more than $5 billion in cumulative trading volume and holds over $30 million in total value locked.
- ▪Ring Protocol is built on Few Protocol, an asset-wrapping layer that wraps tokens before they interact with automated market makers to unlock virtual liquidity.
dLIMIT dTWAP order types
- ▪The dLIMIT protocol executes buy or sell orders only when a user-specified target price is reached or improved without relying on a centralized intermediary.
- ▪The dTWAP protocol divides a large trade into smaller transactions executed over a user-configured period to reduce price slippage and market impact.
DEX market share growth
- ▪HackerNoon reported, citing CoinGecko data, that decentralized exchanges processed $4.9 trillion in spot volume in 2025 and that PancakeSwap and Uniswap ranked among the top ten spot venues by cumulative volume during the August 2025–January 2026 period.
- ▪HackerNoon reported, citing CoinGecko, that centralized trading venues lost more than $2 billion to hacks over roughly a year, with most of that amount attributed to the February 2025 Bybit exploit.
- ▪HackerNoon reported, citing CoinGecko data, that the decentralized-to-centralized exchange spot-volume ratio reached 18.7% in January 2025 and an all-time high of 37.4% in June 2025.
Orbs Layer 3 infrastructure
- ▪Orbs' Layer 3 network operates as a supplementary execution layer, allowing decentralized exchanges to integrate advanced orders without changing underlying infrastructure.
- ▪Orbs says its Layer 3 infrastructure uses a Proof-of-Stake validator network to execute complex trading logic beyond the capabilities of standard smart contracts.
DeFi execution layer consolidation
- ▪According to figures reported by Orbs, its execution protocols have processed $2.5 billion in spot volume since 2023, while its full product line has processed more than $14.1 billion when perpetuals and liquidity-routing activity are included.
- ▪HackerNoon reported that Orbs-powered order protocols operate on 38 decentralized exchanges across 26 blockchain networks, including PancakeSwap, SushiSwap, and QuickSwap.
