Fintech giant Revolut has launched its first euro-pegged stablecoin, EURR, beginning a phased rollout to 2 million customers in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal. Legally issued by Stripe-owned Bridge Building S.A., the MiCA-compliant token is backed 1:1 by euro reserves. The launch comes as Revolut prepares to phase out Tether's USDt in the European Economic Area by August 31, 2026. Revolut plans to integrate EURR on Ethereum and Polygon directly into its retail app, opening onchain finance to its 80 million users.
