Shanghai Electric Showcases Embodied Intelligence Robot Matrix and AI-Native Smart Factory Solutions at WAIC 2026

At WAIC 2026, Shanghai Electric unveiled a comprehensive embodied intelligence matrix to automate complex manufacturing tasks. The showcase featured the SUYUAN bipedal humanoid robot with 41 degrees of freedom and a hot-swap battery system, alongside specialized wheeled and bionic robots. Shanghai Electric also launched 51 industrial AI agents under its Nebula series and released a white paper outlining a three-layer smart factory architecture to transition factories toward data-driven, self-evolving operations.
