On August 12, 2026, the Notre Dame-backed incubator 1842 Fund launched Suvi Health, an ambient AI platform designed to record and organize bedside conversations between patients and hospital care teams. Developed to tackle hospital length-of-stay inefficiencies, the platform automatically records interactions to generate shared task lists. Suvi Health will pilot the technology with Mayo Clinic starting September 2026, focusing on heart failure patients.
