Appeals Court Rules Trump EPA Lacked Authority to Revoke $20B in Climate Grants Already Disbursed
A federal appeals court ruled Tuesday that the Trump administration's EPA did not have the legal authority to terminate and claw back $20 billion in clean-energy funding that had already been distributed to eight nonprofit groups in February 2025.
