Trump administration expands federal education-spending flexibility to six more states
The Trump administration is granting states increased flexibility over federal education funding through waivers while simultaneously proposing to eliminate many Head Start program regulations. Six states have received waivers to consolidate over $109 million in federal education funding as part of broader efforts to dismantle the Education Department.
