Uniswap Labs announced Permissioned Pools, a new hook standard for Uniswap v4 that enables regulated trading of tokenized funds, equities, and other real-world assets through automated market makers with onchain compliance controls. The feature was developed in collaboration with Securitize, Superstate, and Dowgo.
Wall Street investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald has announced a collaboration with Securitize to create a pathway for companies to conduct initial public offerings and follow-on equity offerings using blockchain tokenization technology. Cantor will provide equity capital markets and trading expertise while Securitize supplies regulated tokenization infrastructure.
The SEC declared effective the Form S-4 registration statement for tokenization firm Securitize's merger with Cantor Equity Partners II, moving the BlackRock-backed company closer to a public listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
Securitize has partnered with transfer agent giant Computershare to enable public companies to issue blockchain-based shares, potentially bringing $70 trillion in U.S. equities onchain. The agreement allows companies to tokenize stocks without changing existing market structure.
