Indian food tech startup Inaara NeoFoods has raised ₹21 crore ($2.2M) in seed funding to advance its AI-powered "farm to formulation" platform. Founded in 2026 by Pankaj Khandelwal, Purnima Khandelwal, Ashwin Raghuwanshi, and Ved Agarwal, the Mumbai-based firm designs functional plant-based proteins, fibres, and starches. The investment capitalizes on rising consumer demand in India, where a 2026 Ipsos survey shows 91% of Gen Z is open to adopting plant-based foods to increase protein intake.
