Meta announced its business AI tools now facilitate 10 million conversations per week as of late March 2025, up from 1 million at the beginning of the year, with more than 8 million advertisers using at least one generative AI feature. The company reported strong Q1 2025 financial results with revenue of $56.3 billion (up 33% year-over-year) and profit of $26.8 billion, driven partly by paid WhatsApp messaging and app subscriptions totaling $885 million. Meta is powering these tools with Muse Spark, the first large language model from its Meta Superintelligence Labs division established in 2024, and plans to launch Meta Ads AI Connectors in open beta in April 2025. The AI tools remain free for most businesses, with particularly strong adoption among small and medium-sized businesses, while advertisers using video generation features saw over 3% higher conversion rates in tests.
