Eli Lilly reported exceptional Q1 2026 results with total revenue reaching $19.8 billion, up 56% year-over-year, driven primarily by its GLP-1 drugs Mounjaro and Zepbound which together generated $12.8 billion in combined revenue. Mounjaro sales surged 125% to $8.662 billion while Zepbound grew 80% to $4.160 billion as manufacturing capacity began catching up with global demand. The pharmaceutical giant raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance by $2 billion and reported net income of $3.1 billion, up 41% from the prior year. Beyond GLP-1s, Eli Lilly showed strong growth in oncology with Jaypirca up 79% and neuroscience with Kisunla revenue jumping from $22 million to $124 million, while advancing its pipeline including Phase 3 studies for retatrutide in obesity and diabetes.
