Tokyo-based stablecoin issuer JPYC has raised approximately 6 billion yen (about $38 million) in an extended Series B funding round, announced on August 5, 2026. The round features logistics group AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings as a new investor. JPYC, which issues Japan's first licensed yen stablecoin, plans to use the capital to expand its financial and Web3 ecosystems, accelerate stablecoin adoption, and pay out fees and salaries.
