Meta is developing an agentic AI assistant codenamed Hatch, set for internal testing by the end of June 2026. The project initially uses Anthropic's Claude models but will switch to Meta's own Muse Spark model at launch. Meta raised its AI infrastructure spending for 2026 to as much as $145 billion. The company is also building an Instagram shopping tool slated for integration before the fourth quarter of 2026.
