A Russian double-tap drone strike on a crowded shopping center in Kryvyi Rih killed at least 15 people and injured 130 others, including 23 children. The second wave hit 30 minutes after the first, deliberately targeting emergency responders. In response to intensifying Russian aerial bombardments across Ukraine, Kyiv launched retaliatory long-range drone strikes hitting a Lukoil oil refinery in Perm and a military airfield in Volgograd, deep inside Russian territory.
