U.S. and Iran sign ceasefire agreement ending war, as Lebanese residents begin returning home

The U.S. and Iran have signed a ceasefire agreement to end a war that has killed over 7,000 people. The deal, which includes sanctions relief for Iran and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, has caused oil prices to fall. While displaced Lebanese residents are returning home, Israel was not party to the talks and continues military operations in the country. U.S. President Trump has threatened to resume attacks if Iran does not agree to a future nuclear deal.

U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement

G7 summit response

Oil price decline
